Applications for the 2010-11 Visiting Professor in Australian Studies at the University of Tokyo are now open.
The Visiting Professorship in Australian Studies was created in 1999 by the Centre for Pacific and American Studies, The University of Tokyo, to promote a deeper understanding of Australia and its regional engagement.
The position is supported by the Australia–Japan Foundation.
Applications are invited from highly qualified Australians with a significant academic achievement, including those who have moved to academia from the senior levels of government or community.
The recruitment process is managed by the International Australian Studies Association on behalf of the Centre for Pacific and American Studies at the University of Tokyo.
